The Daedalus Project is an extension of a dissertation effort by Stanford PhD student Nick Yee. The project catalogs many facets of MMORPGs, including a list of MMORPG-specific terms, a look at the demographics of MMORPGs, the basic protocols of role-playing and a statistical peek into the romantic interactions of role-players.
